India’s government is set to set-up a new job search site that will allow the government to hire and retain skilled manpower, officials said on Friday.
The ministry of human resources and training said the job search platform will be launched by the end of this month.
The site will help the government track down talent and train the workforce for the government’s ambitious target of having 25 lakh skilled personnel by 2022.
“The government will soon launch a system for appointing and appointing skilled manpower in India.
This will be a tool to keep track of skills that are needed in different sectors and ensure they get trained and trained in a timely manner,” ministry of manpower and training secretary Anurag Agarwal said.
The jobs will be offered to Indian citizens and permanent residents, he added.
India has more than 4.5 million jobs and more than 1.5 lakh of them are currently vacant.
The government has been working on the creation of a new system of job search websites for years and is currently seeking bids from companies, hiring agencies and other businesses.
The job search website will allow applicants to enter a database where they can upload their skills and qualifications, such as their job postings.
Agarwals job search portal is currently the second largest in the country.
