How do you deposit money into the United States Census?
The answer is a $20 coin, which can be used to purchase anything from groceries to a ticket to the Oscars.
The coin was unveiled Monday at the Census Bureau’s offices in Washington, DC.
The coin is made of the same high-quality, 100% American copper used in all US-produced coins.
The first coin was produced in 2014.
“It is the first coin to feature a commemorative design on its obverse and reverse,” the agency said in a statement.
“The design is a tribute to the U.S. Postal Service, the nation’s largest postal service.”
To deposit cash into the U, you can either pay for a postage stamp, or the coin will accept credit cards.
There’s no fee to do so.
The Census Bureau says you’ll also be able to purchase the coin on its website.
