The Federal Bureau of Investigation is hiring for nearly a dozen positions to help fill thousands of vacant FBI jobs, but the bureau is not seeking those who have been arrested or convicted of crimes, the agency said.
The positions are to be filled through the FBI’s Criminal Investigative Service, the bureau said in a news release on Wednesday.
The jobs require law enforcement experience.
The agency said the jobs are available for positions in Orange and Riverside counties, including Riverside and Orange counties, and will not be posted online.
The FBI announced earlier this month that it would open two new positions in Riverside County to fill more than 500 vacancies.
The jobs require the use of computer, data, information technology, and security-related skills.
The new positions are set to begin hiring on Sept. 15 and will last for four months, the FBI said.
