A reporter for the CBS 6 El Paso affiliate has been hired by the station to cover the state job market, the station announced on Thursday.
The hiring comes as the El Paso Times-Herald reported Thursday that the El Pueblo Times-Call is looking for a state jobs reporter.
El Paso Times Call has a statewide staff of four and covers the city and county of El Paso.
The El Paso Herald reported earlier this week that El Paso was considering hiring a state job reporter for its news division.
